Hotel Royal Craiova

Magnificent and lovely location not too far away from Prefecture Square Craiova.

There was no elevator.

The hotel was upgraded with vintage decorations. the rooms were extremely pleasant with a good bed. - I had a sensational breakfast with sausages and avocado toast. - the accommodation had a central location in a nice area. It's a quiet and cosy hotel, with nice staff and clean rooms and facilities.

When trying to check in, the reception desk officer was not aware of my Booked.net reservation.

We enjoyed staying at royal craiova. Location not far from Caracal bus stop, only 10 minutes walk away.

The modern room here has great AC, a jacuzzi, and a comfortable bed; the service is excellent too.

Central position, good comfort, clean, good staff, nice quality/price ratio, nothing to complain.

the breakfast selection was excellent with home made cookies. the location was marvellous in a fairly quiet area, really close to the train / bus station, the restaurant below, and the historical center. also, it was at a moderate distance from casa feraru. overall the service was excellent.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the historical center. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of delicious and healthy options.

Everything was just fine.

Excellent service all round. Was given a choice of rooms. Bathroom was excellent with hot water. Very little noise to disturbe even with a wedding taking place. Breakfast was an excellent buffent with sufficient choice.

Breakfast is made as buffet but not very well taken care of. Eggs cold and service not very attentive.Less music and more fresh food desirable. Clerk on checkout was not very interessted in feedback.

A solid 3-star spot for us, will definitely be back next year! Super close to Jean Mihail Palace, just a few steps away. 🌟

Good location, good quality services and comfort at good rates

Room was very clean. The furniture was new and very comfortable. Very close to the city center.

The view of our room was to a roof and the back of a street - not very appealling for a longer stay. The shower was very modern, but the functions were not working. Not a great variety for breakfast, but satisfactory. No private parking, but parking spaces were available nearby.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The old fashioned but updated style adds a unique charm to the place. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel like a VIP. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a good bed and AC. And let's not forget the breakfast - a delicious spread of local, healthy products to start your day right.

All was well during my stay.

Friendly staff. Good sized rooms - my colleague and I both had a suite and these were very big with excellent amenties such as a spa bath. The rooms very in expensive for what they were.
